Position size calculator

The lot size that risks a fixed % of your balance on a given stop.

Lot size

0.50

Risk amount

$100

How it's calculated

Risk amount is your balance multiplied by the risk percentage. Lot size is that risk amount divided by the stop loss in pips times the pip value per lot. If a 20-pip stop on one lot costs $200 and you want to risk $100, you trade half a lot.
