No — viewing is completely free. You can open the rankings, explore, and any published profile, account or portfolio page and see the full stats without paying or creating an account.
How do I find strong traders or EAs?
Start on Rankings — the leaderboard of scored accounts. Filter by All / EA / Manual / Prop-firm, switch on Verified only, or narrow by system type. Explore shows new accounts and fresh results, and search jumps you to any trader or account.
Can I compare systems side by side?
Yes — put accounts side by side to compare gain, drawdown, and consistency.
What does following a trader do?
It lets you keep tabs on a trader and see new results. Browsing needs no account; following needs a free one.
Why can't I find an account that someone linked me to?
Owners choose one of three visibility levels: Private (only the owner), Unlisted (anyone with the link can open it, but it isn’t listed in rankings, explore or search), and Public (listed and discoverable). An unlisted page opens fine from the link — it just won’t show up when you search for it.
Can I view everything on my phone?
Yes — the whole site works in a mobile browser, so you can browse traders and read every stat from your phone or tablet.
Are there free tools for my own trading?
Yes — the calculators page has position-size, pip-value, margin and risk-of-ruin calculators that run entirely in your browser, and there’s a guide on vetting an EA before you buy.
Scores & verification
How to judge what you're looking at.
What is the ConfirmedTrades Score?
A single 0–100 rating on every account so you can compare systems at a glance. It reflects profitability, risk, consistency, longevity, and how well the results are verified. Each account’s score card shows the breakdown.
What do the letter grades mean?
A+ (90+), A (80–89), B (70–79), C (60–69), D (50–59), E (below 50). You’ll also see an activity level (Very active → Dormant).
What does “verified” mean?
Every account is labelled by its trust level: Self-reported (nothing independently confirmed — a starting point), Live-synced (streams automatically from the trading terminal), and Broker-verified (independently confirmed at the broker). Look for the badge.
Three different claims, often confused. Self-reported history proves nothing on its own; live sync proves the trades are real; broker verification proves the account is whose it says it is.
How do I know the results aren't faked?
Look for the Live-synced and Broker-verified badges — those come from the terminal and the broker, not screenshots. There’s also a separate trading-privileges check confirming the account is a real, tradable account the owner controls. On top of that, the worst drawdown an account has ever reached is recorded permanently — it can’t be erased by disconnecting and reconnecting.
Is it real money or a demo?
Every account shows its type and currency, and demos are clearly flagged. Be sceptical of demo-only results — the same rules on real money have to pay spread, slippage and commission that a demo server never charges.
The same rules on a demo and on real money. Nothing about the strategy changed — the gap is spread, slippage, commission and fills that a demo server never charges you for.
What you'll see
What numbers can I see on a profile?
20+ metrics: gain, maximum drawdown, monthly returns (as a table, chart, calendar or summary, in % or money), win rate, profit factor, average win vs loss, trade count, how long it’s run, and risk-adjusted stats. There’s a per-instrument breakdown with long / short / total results, a chart of trade duration against profit, a breakdown by strategy or EA, execution quality (spread & slippage in points, per instrument) and, on deeper accounts, a full Risk Lab.
Can I analyze an account with my own filters?
Often, yes. If the owner allows it, a Custom Analysis button lets you filter the account’s trades — by date range, instrument, strategy, buy/sell, weekday, hour, lot size, profit, duration or comment — and every statistic on the page is recomputed over just those trades. It’s read-only and nothing is changed on the owner’s page; Reset returns to the full record.
Does anything flag risky strategies like martingale or grid?
Yes — each account carries an AI strategy analysis that flags common red flags. Still check drawdown, sample size and account type yourself. A grid is the one to know by sight: the balance line only records closed trades, so it can look flawless while an open basket drags real equity far below it.
The balance line only records closed trades, so a grid can look impeccable while an open basket drags real equity far below it. Always read the equity line, not the balance line.
Why are some recent trades missing, or some columns not shown?
Owners can delay how soon each closed trade becomes public (to prevent live copying), choose which columns of the trade table are shown, cap how many rows are listed, and decide how much of their open positions is visible. Verified totals and headline stats are never delayed or hidden.
A reveal delay keeps each closed trade private for a chosen period, so a record can be public without being copyable in real time. The totals stay honest because they are never delayed.
I saw a ConfirmedTrades widget elsewhere — can I trust it?
It shows live data from the trader's published page and updates automatically. Click through to the full profile to check the verification, account type, and drawdown.
The fine print
Can I buy or copy an EA here?
No — ConfirmedTrades verifies and displays track records; it isn't a marketplace, takes no commission, and gives no investment advice. You contact the publisher directly and do your own due diligence.
For publishers
Showing your own verified track record.
Getting started
From sign-up to a live, published page.
What is ConfirmedTrades and who's it for?
A place to prove and show off a real, live trading track record — built especially for EA developers and traders who want independently-verified performance buyers trust.
How do I get started, and is it free?
Sign up free with email, Google, or MQL5, verify your email, pick your permanent User ID, and connect a trading account. Publishing is free; the Founder programme adds capacity and every advanced feature.
Which platforms are supported?
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 sync live today through the ConfirmedTrades connector. cTrader accounts can be added with manually entered history for now — live sync is next on the roadmap — and TradeLocker follows after that.
How do I connect my MetaTrader account?
Install the ConfirmedTrades connector on your MetaTrader 4 or 5 terminal and add your User ID and connector key (both are on the API Keys tab in Settings, along with a ready-made settings file). Your account appears automatically the first time the connector runs.
Do I have to upload reports?
No — your trades, balance, and equity sync automatically and keep updating. Reporting frequency depends on your plan (every 15 min on Free down to every minute on higher plans).
Can I show a manual track record too?
Yes — it doesn't have to be an EA. Automated accounts can be shown as such, and manual traders are equally first-class.
Can I view, set up, and edit my profile on a mobile browser?
Yes — the whole site works in a mobile browser, so you can set up, edit, publish, and manage your profile, accounts, and privacy settings from your phone or tablet. The only step that needs a computer is installing the connector on your MetaTrader terminal — once it's running, you handle everything else from mobile.
Trust & verification
What's the trust ladder?
Self-reported → Live-synced → Broker-verified.
What is broker verification — is it safe?
Yes. It’s an independent check at the broker that earns the verified badge, and it uses read-only (investor) access that can’t trade or move money. You enter the investor password in the account’s Settings, General tab.
What's the “trading privileges” check?
An optional step that proves your account can actually place orders — added credibility for buyers. Each account has its own one-off verification code (shown in the account’s Settings and Manage pages). Place a pending order far from the current price so it won’t fill, put that code in the order’s comment, and the check passes on the next sync. You can cancel the order afterwards.
What is the ConfirmedTrades Score?
A single 0–100 rating and letter grade, reflecting profitability, risk, consistency, longevity, and how well your results are verified.
What is the permanent drawdown record?
The worst balance and equity drawdown your account has ever reached is stored permanently — it only ever gets worse, never better, and survives deleting and reconnecting the account. It's shown in the Money flow section so viewers can trust it.
Visibility & publishing
What are the visibility levels?
Accounts and portfolios each have three: Private (only you), Unlisted (anyone with the link, but not listed in rankings, explore or search), and Public (listed and discoverable). Change it from the pill at the top-right of the page, from the account or portfolio list, or in Settings. The pill also offers copy-link and open-in-new-tab shortcuts once the page is accessible.
Why can't I publish my account or portfolio?
Publishing cascades downwards. An account can be made public or link-only only when your profile is public (Settings → Profile). A portfolio can be published only when every account in it is published. When something upstream is still private you’ll see a small warning chip next to the visibility pill explaining what to fix first.
Will my link break if I rename my account?
No — every account and portfolio URL carries a permanent ID, so links you've already shared keep working after a rename.
Can I preview exactly what visitors see?
Yes — use the preview option on your account page to see it exactly as a visitor does, with your privacy settings applied.
Privacy & control
Can I keep parts of my page private?
Yes — show or hide individual sections and reorder them, choose how open positions appear (full / symbol & direction only / hidden), and set a reveal delay on individual closed trades (1 / 6 / 12 / 24 hours, measured from when we receive the trade). Your verified totals are never delayed; the headline stats stay public.
Can I choose which columns my trade table shows?
Yes — in Public Page Settings you tick exactly which columns appear in the closed and open tables (for example hiding stop loss, take profit, magic number, comments or lot size). Unticked columns are hidden for everyone, including you; re-tick to bring one back. Lot sizes and the broker account number are simply columns — there is no separate switch for them.
Does the rows-per-page setting limit what visitors can see?
No. Rows per page (5, 10, 25 or 50) only chooses how many rows a table lists at a time — everyone, visitors included, can keep paging back through the whole record. The reveal delay is the setting that holds fresh trades back, and it never touches the verified totals.
Can visitors run Custom Analysis on my page?
That’s up to you. The option “Let visitors run Custom Analysis” in Manage → Trade records is on by default; switch it off and only you can filter the page. Visitor analysis is read-only and never changes your saved settings.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes — send the request through the Help button (bottom-right of any page) and we’ll remove your account and associated data.
Settings & customization
Where do I change settings — the Published button or the gear?
They control different pages, and that is the whole idea. The Published / Private button opens Public Page Settings — everything a visitor sees, in five tabs: General (visibility, broker account number), Sections, Trade records, Widgets and Appearance. The gear opens your own Account settings — General (title, avatar, account details, EA names), Sections (your own page’s list), Trade records, My view, Connection, Verification, Alerts and Danger zone. Nothing that changes the public page lives behind the gear.
Can I arrange my own page differently from the public one?
Yes. The gear has its own Sections list and a My view tab — hide sections you never look at, set your own order, choose which series appear on your charts and which Monthly tab opens first. None of it changes anything for visitors; their view is set under Public Page Settings.
How do I delete an account or portfolio?
Open the gear → Danger zone. A random 3-digit code is shown and you have to type it before the Delete button turns on — deletion is permanent, so it takes a deliberate action. Deleting a portfolio removes only the roll-up; the member accounts and their trades are untouched.
What's the difference between Apply and Save?
Both store your changes straight away. Apply keeps the window open and refreshes the page behind it so you can see the effect; Save also closes the window. Cancel closes without saving anything further. A short confirmation appears in the corner for every save, and errors are shown in red with a short beep.
Can I save a layout and reuse it on other accounts?
Yes — both the Settings window and the Manage page let you save your current display setup under a name and apply it to any of your accounts. Presets never include the account's name or visibility.
What are EA names?
Your terminal identifies each strategy by a number (its magic number). In Account settings (the gear) or Manage → General, under “EA names (magic numbers)”, give each number a friendly name — for example the EA's product name. If one EA numbers its trades sequentially, name a whole range in one go and any new number inside it is named automatically.
Where do my EA names appear?
In the Breakdown statistics card on the account page. That card opens on By symbol, so click By magic on its right — the table then shows an EA / strategy column with your names next to the raw magic number. The by-magic donut uses the names for its slices, and they also appear in the Custom Analysis strategy filters and in the AI review. If you cannot see the By magic option at all, the account has not traded a non-zero magic number yet.
What's the Terminal & open charts card?
A card on your account page (you always see it; visitors only if you switch the section on under Page sections) showing the health of the MetaTrader terminal that runs the connector: connection status, ping to the broker, sync latency, terminal build, whether automated trading and DLL imports are allowed, memory and CPU, and a list of the charts you have open with the EA on each. It needs the latest connector — if you see “waiting for first sync”, update the connector on your terminal. Visitors see it only when you make the section public.
Can I get notifications on Telegram instead of email?
Yes — Telegram is the default. Under Settings → Notifications press Connect Telegram: a chat with our bot opens, you tap Start, and you’re linked. The one-time code in that link proves you own the Telegram account, and your verified handle becomes the Telegram link on your public profile. Heartbeat alerts use a separate heartbeat bot (enable it with one more tap) so they never get buried. Pick Email instead if you prefer; sign-in and security messages always go by email, and if Telegram can’t deliver a message we fall back to email.
What is Heartbeat?
Every connected account pings ConfirmedTrades from its terminal every few minutes. The Heartbeat page in your dashboard shows, for each account, whether it is live right now, when it was last seen, and the terminal’s health (build, ping, automated trading, open charts). Static track-record sites can’t tell you this — a record can look fine while the robot behind it has been dead for a week. Closing the chart or terminal on purpose is reported by the connector itself and shows as “Connector unloaded”, not as an outage.
Can I be told when an account stops reporting?
Yes — heartbeat alerts. Switch them on per account from the Heartbeat page or the account’s Manage page (off by default). If the connector goes quiet for 30 minutes we send you one message (Telegram or email, your choice) with when it was last seen and the usual causes, and once more when it’s back. If several accounts change at the same time you get one combined email, never one per account, and an account that drops and recovers within a few minutes sends nothing. Heartbeat alerts are part of the Founder programme, which is earned free rather than bought. “Sync alerts” under Settings → Notifications is the master switch for all of them.
Sharing & widgets
How do I embed my results on my own site or store?
Open the Widgets tab in your account Settings (or the Widgets page in your dashboard). Pick one of four widgets — Stats card, Stats inline, Equity curve or Monthly returns — as a PNG or SVG image in Dark, Light or Transparent, at 1×, 2× or 3× size, and copy the link, Markdown or HTML. There’s also an interactive embed that can follow the visitor’s light/dark theme automatically, and a Download button for a static image. Widgets update themselves and only work while the account is published; higher plans remove ConfirmedTrades branding.
Can I combine several accounts into one view?
Yes — portfolios roll several accounts into one shareable page with combined stats, the same growth and monthly-returns charts as an account page, and its own embed. Portfolios have their own Settings window (General, Chart colors with an optional forced light/dark theme, Chart visibility with per-view ticks and Section visibility); portfolio widgets live in its visibility-pill window.
Can I share a filtered view of my account?
Yes — Custom Analysis (the button at the top of your account or portfolio page) filters the trades and recomputes every statistic on the page; the result lives in the page link, so you can share it. You can also save your own filter presets for reuse across accounts.
Does ConfirmedTrades sell my EA or take a cut?
No — it showcases your performance, takes no commission, and isn't a marketplace. Buyers deal with you directly.
Referrals & community
How do referrals work?
Anyone who visits your public profile, account or portfolio page and then signs up counts as a friend you brought in — no special link needed (there’s also a plain invite link in Community for DMs). The Founder series: bringing 2 friends makes you a Pioneer (access to the private Clique group), 5 a Founder (public profile badge), 10 a Luminary (priority feature suggestions).
How do I unlock every feature for free?
Bring 5 traders who connect a live account with at least 20 closed trades, and every feature — portfolios included — is unlocked for a full year. Every 5 more add another year. Only verified sign-ups count.
